On 6 February, with the support of the Holy See and in particular of Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Service of Charity, a new shipment of humanitarian aid was dispatched to Ukraine.
The consignment includes 80 generators, 100,000 food packages and 100,000 sets of medical supplies.
The delivery was organised through the humanitarian hub operating at the Patriarchal Pro-Cathedral of Santa Sofia in Rome, active since 24 February 2022 and coordinated by Father Marko Semegen, who oversees the collection, preparation and logistics of aid for Ukraine.
The Embassy continues to coordinate with partners to address humanitarian needs in Ukraine.
