On February 9, Ukraine and the Sovereign Order of Malta marked the 18th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

Over these years, bilateral dialogue has developed on the basis of shared values of solidarity, respect for human dignity and attention to those most in need. Cooperation with the Order has gained particular significance amid the war against Ukraine.

Ukraine expresses sincere gratitude to the Sovereign Order of Malta for its sustained humanitarian engagement, medical and social assistance, and tangible support for the Ukrainian people. The Order’s aid helps save lives and supports those suffering the consequences of Russia’s aggression.

Efforts will continue to expand humanitarian assistance and to help people affected by the war.
