As part of his working visit to New York, on the margins of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Minister Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with the Grand Chancellor of the Sovereign Order of Malta, Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo.

During the meeting, gratitude was expressed to the Order of Malta for its important humanitarian mission in Ukraine and for its unwavering commitment to overcoming the consequences of Russian aggression.

Special attention was given to the recent visit of Grand Hospitaller Josef D. Blotz to Ukraine, which served as a significant demonstration of solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

Ukraine highly values the Order’s consistent support on international platforms, its advocacy for strengthening humanitarian assistance, and its efforts to protect civilians.

Our country will continue to remain committed to deepening cooperation with the Order of Malta for the benefit of the Ukrainian people.
