Ambassador of Ukraine Tetyana Izhevska gave an interview to a leading Japanese daily newspaper "Mainichi".
Topics of the interview: reaction of the Holy See and of the Pope Francis to the aggression of Russia against Ukraine, current situation in Ukraine, the state and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the Holy See, including in the framework of international organizations, the results of the Pontiff’s visit to visit to the UN and US, the role of church and classical diplomacy, the question of ecumenism.
During the interview, the Ambassador handed to the correspondent of the "Mainichi", the Head of the European Office Yoshinori Fukushima informational articles and materials on the mentioned issues.
