Ambassador of Ukraine to the Holy See Tetyana Izhevska and Bishop of New Westminster Archbishop of the UGCC Kenneth (Nowakiwskyi) held a meeting with the Head of the Department of International Cooperation of "Caritas Italy» Paolo Becegato. Archbishop Kenneth (Nowakiwskyi) is the founder of the charitable organization "Caritas Ukraine".

The parties discussed the possibility of more active involvement of "Caritas Italy" in projects being already implemented by the "Caritas Ukraine" in the Eastern Ukraine, including the relief operation for the affected population in the ATO area.
