"It is the threat for the whole world. It is not a conflict inside Ukraine. Ukrainian nation is united as never before and the world should find the right answer to the actions of terrorists," he emphasized.

The President underlined that the reaction of the world to the events with the aircraft should be uniform. Every person, every country, including Russia, should make a decision whether to be with the terrorists or to be with the civilized world.

The Head of State firmly responded to the statement of the Russian side that the Ukrainian military aircraft had been flying a few kilometers away from the Malaysian aircraft just shortly around the time that it had been downed.
